Sam Dillard scholarship fund
Sam Dillard began his teaching career at Cincinnati Christian Schools in 1977, after graduating from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. He taught high school Bible, Health, Physical Education,
and Weight Training. In addition to teaching, he took the coaching positions of junior high boys basketball and varsity boys soccer. He remained head coach of the varsity boys soccer team for 31 years. Before passing away
last November, Coach Dillard touched the lives of thousands of students.
On November 9, 2008, Coach Dillard was honored by the Miami Valley Conference with the James Wright Award. This award is given to coaches who have demonstrated excellence in coaching
Sam was married to Lianne and has two young daughters. After his sudden death last November, the Southwest Ohio Coaches Association set up a scholarship fund for Sam's daughters. If you wish to make a donation please
